Ive had an ew interest on Redemptive in the 6.45 Kempton 12/1 top price with books Filly by Royal Applause - makes her first appearance for the David Elsworth yard today.Taking a shot that this step up to a mile and down to a class 5 , on just her second start in a nursery, could bring some improvement in a race that looks wide open.

One to keep an eye on imo - was given an easy time of it ... and ran into traffic too.

Had a go at Konigin - 15:25 Lin, 14 BF. Tentative bet in a race where several could win.
Smashed into 5.96 BFSP, went 2.56 IR and finished just out of the places in a blanket f.

drawn 12 not in its favour
Slowly away and the lack of front-runners could be a bigger problem. I thought that today though for False ID (13:40 Wol) but it won.

1.25 Wolverhampton: ELLIOT THE DRAGON 20/1 EW BOGCombination of the step up in trip and the falling mark could see this Derek Shaw 3yo improve on all known formThe two runs on the AW in May showed some potential in lowly hcaps - 20/1 looks fair as he looked like he needed another furlong and now gets it off a 5/7lb lower mark .First run over 6f today
I've gone for Tarseekh in that race. He has the worst draw in 13 but there doesn't look like too much will get in his way getting to the rail, and he has Kingscote on board. Missed the 23 earlier being greedy, so have had to take 16/1 BOG.

Unlucky PHS, good shout
Thanks George . Kingscote maybe went a shade too quick. Stake back IR anyway. Maybe ew was the way to go, as he was always going to be in the mix at the finish but quite probably going to be caught close home!

6.55 Chelmsford: AFRICAN BLESSING NAP 12/1 EW BOGI really like this one in the context of the competition.First time out for the yard today - last run was in September for Charlie Wallis. There were a few runs on the AW in October 2017 that does suggest that he could be chucked in of today's mark of 53 - a few of those runs suggested that 7f would also suit and hasn't been over-raced since those runs either. Its a really poor race and AB could absolutely trounce these if coming back to the form he showed against higher rated horses last year ...especially now running at this trip. Looks a potential hcap plot here imo.

4.00 Fontwell: WESTERN MORNING 16/1 EW BOG Cant say im really confident - but at the same time i think WM is still relativity unexposed for such a lightly raced animal over this trip and ground.Just the second start for Milton Harris todayDid look a strong traveller with plenty of speed within two better races last year for Oliver Greenall - think the quicker ground over 2 miles could also suit if making it a thorough speed test.Milton Harris hasn't been back training long but he is a very good trainer - his record of improving horses from other yards is very good - i takes my chances today at 16s BOG with the first time visor - Nick Schofield taking the ride and he has also been working the horse on the gallops. "
frustrating - think it was softer than the official going - probably need to come down another 10lbs .
