Nope - a mystery

Very late, had a speculative 18s up, didn't seem to break the stalls that late.... Someone traded 999-1 as well, someone has burnt fingers...

Took 12 and watching soccer. Buggar.

kipling, you are exceedingly greedy!

on at avg 9.49, what a clot :(

By:
i can't remember a 9/1 shot going off at that price on here and winning

The horse was weak in the market, perhaps b/c of the draw. It had traded out to 14, then in to 12 and fluctuating. It was v. strong in the shops this am.
Obviously primed for the race, went clear with another last time when not fully wound up, to my mind the likeliest winner...and it goes off over 20s! Crazy! Some v. unlucky person has lost a lot of money IR and w/ this pre-race drift |

Very strange. Traded at 13s a few seconds before the off so where 25.5 came from no idea.

sp anomaly got only 9.2 & 13.5 pre sp

Odd market all round.
Was it functioning properly ? Winner lowest matched @ 1.25 Winner Laid @ 1000 about two furlongs out. |
By:
Lol Sheik.
Not settled. Be prepared to be ripped off. |
By:
are they allowed to change the sp from the 25.4?
By:
These sp's can be sooo frustrating. Last time I left an sp bet up, was matched @ 4-1, industry sp was 6-1.
Maybe there was a huge sp lay that cleaned out everything at the off (lead to the 1,000 matched? ) as there was 97k matched at sp? |
By:
wonder if this is an error, especially as not settled
By:
Hmmmm, got a feeling that winners at BSP will not be paid out at 25.
By:
cmon sort it out BF. Need to lay off next race and all tied up
By:
Something strange happening. I backed it or a few quid at 9s and 12s not settled 20 mins ater race

something quite odd about this one ...
By:
i havent been settled and i didnt bet bsp
By:
i backed it at 12.5 when last horse entered stalls so i cant see it been paid out at that sp

Needs sorting as all my bank tied up - missed 2 rasces already and I laid Sea Lord !!!!!!!!!!!

By:
BF not paying out, maybe trying to protect one of their premier clients.

Hills has done that before at Royal Ascot in a big handicap. I remember Showboat getting beat as fav a week or so before winning by some 8 lengths in the Hunt Cup at 10/1. How many burnt their fingers the other week on Ransom Note and didn't get it all back with interest today?

BF not paying out, maybe trying to protect one of their premier clients. lol When I complained about an sp that was more than 2pts below industry sp was told it was symptomatic of low liquidity markets. Clearly not seen as a premier customer :( |
By:
come on betfair sort it out
By:
Bf shd honour the bets clients see on their screens.
I traded off IR after my bet at 19 was engulfed. There is no way I wd have rushed back into the market w/ the horse in touch on the far side if my screen did not show a liability at that price. If they've made a mistake, take the hit and pay out imv! |

We shd be able to bet w/ certainty. Bf use technology to manage risk. They shd not shuck the risk off to us. |

Muqbil sorry it took me an age to find this thread again - this forum platform is such a substandard shocker BF, please replace gubbed.com and (as mentioned on another thread ) any explanation for timeform site saying I/R high of 21 when RP matt w. confirms 1000 matched?
Also surprised (on yet another thread) that Mauritian racing not really registered on your personal radar (and dont recognise you as a gratuitous ironist). |

Anyone who laid the SP must be sick.

They are sage see tubba's thread - if you can find it

Just very odd betting on that horse all round. Big sp, matched at 1000 and the last price matched as the suspend came up where the horse won half a length was 4.9!
By:
SP layers would have lost the same amount whatever price is returned
