Musidora looks tricky although Gosden/Dettori team have an exceptional record in the race in recent years. Presumably they feel that Highgarden will come on a huge amount for her first run and turn the tables with the Haggas filly. Feel the Simcock filly will go very well given they won the French 1000 guineas on Sunday. Lubinka travelled very well last time, has the highest rating and won't mind the quicker ground. However like the rest of this field she has yet to register a speed figure of note. All in all an extremely tricky puzzle to solve.
Dante looks wide open. Can see the arguments for Roaring Lion, he travels very well in his races and has done very well at shorter distances given that he's bred to excel as a three year old at middle distances. Only drawback seems to be the price.
Milderberger will presumably be ridden up there, the value for me though possibly lies with Wells Farhh go and Nordic Lights.
Nordic lights seems to be a godolphin horse that has been almost completely overlooked by the market, but he's nice looking type of horse who posted a good speed figure when winning at newmarket last time. Also like the Easterby horse. He's 2/2 at York, which is clearly a positive, and has finished both of his wins off extremely well, with the final furlong being his best one in both wins. That in itself is extremely encouraging given that he's bred to excel at middle distances.
With Roaring Lion being too short, it's Wells Farhh go with a saver on Nordic lights the way forward for me.
