First off i think it's worth a sheckle or 2 on the man again (for Golden boot and ball) as he's the same sort of price and while he hasn't set the world alight as he might have, he aint done too bad and i can see him and Col having a decent comp. I'm on a bit of a run on the horses atm and consequently have bet a bit (and not too sensibly!) on a few world cup markets so i won't bore you with them all.
I think there could be lots of funny results at this world cup and can see a fair few pens being awarded by var (or scared refs) so have looked at pen takers in the top goal scorer (boot) market. I've had a patriotic mug bet (see above) on Kane and Eng but I like the look of Lewandowski (Poland) at 33's (arb alert!) and Poland outright at 100's on here or so with the books. Backing 3 teams in the same part of the draw means that 1 of them should ride through to the latter stages anyway.
If Poland are to progress (they will be trying extra hard as it's in Russia after all!) then, realistically Lew has to have a good comp and that can be helped by a few pens so i think the 500-1 - yes 500-1 that betfair sportsbook have on Lew/Poland top goal scorer/winner is worth a small investment as it may not win but as last time it could be good while it rides.
I've also done lew with Arg and Ger, James/Col and a dabble on mexico and hernandez at silly odds. Good luck with all your bets and feel free to post your muggy bets (that just might come off) on here if you wish.

Cheers lads - couldn't find anything interesting in the golden ball this year but having learnt from 2014 I'll def do a bit of trading when i do find a pick, poss a French one. Poland playing Lithuania tonight so i hope there are no injuries -  to lew esp! Not sure if it 's on tv but not by the look of it  - dodgy stream time no doubt.

* just to say the market for Golden Ball seems a lot more open this year and not any silly prices there for the taking.

Like i said -I'm looking at the French squad, not a player I'd back with any confidence but good luck. 2 goals from lew in first half, one a nice free kick so manager kindly take him off now! Lew is available at 100's on here for the ball so it would be rude not to back him.

Super Tuesday tomoz where the main bets may live or die, going well so far with mexico and kane, and as i thought loads of pens - though not enough for England as kane might have 4 goals!
