“Today is one of the happiest days of my life as a manager. I am so proud of my players. We were sad [in midweek] so that is why I am so happy. My players put everything on to the pitch. It is one of the days I am most proud. More than ever I want to help the club – if they want to stay with me – and make the next step forward. I came here for three years and I want to stay for three years and next year play better.”

I'm pretty sure he does play media games. If that interview he gave a few months ago where he kept saying he was very happy and wishing people a happy new year and not answering the questions wasn't media games then what was it?
Guardiola comes across very weird anyway. The way his eyes lit up today and smiled when the interviewer was talking about it being exciting to watch for the neutral and his subsequent answer gives the impression that he'd rather the game be good to watch than win.

tbh i think he is telling the truth he knows he cant win the league and this was a 6 pointer for 3rd spot potentially
He avoided the loss and has game in hand in over 4th now
Game plan win but NOT LOSS
