...In fact, he was never in it.

The Sky/PDC hyping machine is now in tatters as the joint 11th fav fails to qualify.

Ample routes to reach Ally Pally and blows the lot.
To think some were even pushing him for a Premier League spot.

Others will rejoice following his latest on stage antics in Glasgow.
Still, he'll play in the Grand Slam in what must be a humiliating come down.

Time for Cadby to return to School, then Q School in January.

A few players spring to mind with claims of what they'd achieve in the game.
Early career exhibition flyers - Chris Mason: Future World Champion. Plain
A good up and coming talent with plenty to offer. Fell short as the demons
too hold, along with a tool of a different trade and much publicised fall from grace!

Bad boys like Mason somehow rise to the top with media work:

Bristow - Mouthy, speaks his mind, upset many, won everything until ruined by dartitus.
Savage
Claridge
Merson - Waxing the dolphin - say no more.
Quinn
McEnroe
Cash
White
O'sullivan

he's a bit too arrogant for my liking, so he gets what he deserves. Rob Cross is a good example of how you should be; super confident in yourself and your ability to beat everyone, but not arrogant and aggressive.

Agre, maybe a bit soon, but I'll take the risk : Rob breaking throuhg is probably the best thing to happen in the pdc and darts world in general for quite some time now. With Phil retiring, he has all it needs to fill his spot at the top.
