Creating the thread early because of the weather forecast. Biblical weather forecast but since its Srilanka, it might well mean no rain at all. Hoping for some input from the experts regarding weather.

Dear experts, any opinions? I've layed 2.9.

Draw suddenly quite active - back above 3.0 already. Weather improving slightly.

Sorry - meant to end that with a question mark.

Draw at 3.4 now.

Draw dipped to 2.6 overnight while SA went out from about evens to 2.4. Weirdly SL shortened to 4.3 from almost 5.0 yesterday.

I think I might have found the holy grail, A real time rain radar for Sri Lanka. Just testing it at the moment against other things to see if it is worth using.
btw feeling absolutely gutted we lost last night.
I just wanted to get to the final, I think that would have been enough to appease me after the last 25 years of drossCryCryCry

not sure Charlie, because it went in play 5 mins before the test started.
The game started 5 mins late for some reason

I take it SL were favourites?
By:
jucel69
When: 12 Jul 18 05:56
no, after the toss 4.2 then dropped rapidly to about 3.4 at the start of play. Then plummeted sub 3s

SA look doomed, 3 seamers & 1 spin, SL 3 spinners & 1 seam. Tells you everything about the deck!

Reasonable Juce. Laid Spain and Germany early on. But also lost a fair bit on Germany against Mexico when I refused to acknowledge they could lose.

Laid England at 5.9 when they were drawing with Colombia - could have backed back at 11.x a bit later but didn't and was a bit twitchy with them. Backed France at 10.5 but as is always the case not for enough.

Not doing well on this. Laid draw at 3.15 and SL at 3.87.

How do you stand in WC Juce? I know you laid Brazil for a fair whack. Thought you'd also laid England and France?

Yeh I was doing pretty well until for the first time in forever I backed Eng to qualify at 1.7
Didn't lay off at 1.2 or at 1.7 when Croatia scored. What a d1ck I amCry

Was a decent chunk of draw to lay at 2.52 when I went to bed so naturally I laid at 2.5, as a nice round number and it was nibbled but not taken. Stupid for various reasons. Presumably it was so short because of dubious weather for the last few days and high humidity. Sounds like it will be a minefield by day 3 though.

Had a whole series where we kept saying that, didn’t we? That was back when I quite often won money on cricket. The WC has been huge for me but I’ve had a really ordinary time in cricket in the last month.

Good morning. For those asking about pre game prices, last night It was
SA: 2.72
Draw: 2.3
SL: 4.3(probably)

Yeah it never rains in SL. I layed from 2.9 to 2.4

Now backed at 4.5

Hmm didn't get all of 4.5 matched. Will let it ride.
