Charlie, we have missed you on the cricket forum. What have you been upto?
Report Charlie July 13, 2018 6:51 PM BST
Thanks dt. Just needed a rest from posting. Still been betting. In a mess on SL-SA and not too clever on this.
Report Charlie July 13, 2018 6:53 PM BST
Shouldn't you be studying dt?
Report detraveller July 13, 2018 6:54 PM BST
I am studying
Report Charlie July 13, 2018 6:54 PM BST
I really meant for exams not gambolling.
Report Charlie July 13, 2018 6:55 PM BST
Good wicket. Another one or two quick ones please.

I am studying for exams. Have my notes opened in front of me.

Report Charlie July 13, 2018 6:57 PM BST
Ah, trying the old osmosis trick eh.
Report detraveller July 13, 2018 6:57 PM BST
Just watching Tennis alongside it and trying to follow the women's game but I think I may have missed the opportunity to lay NZ.
Report detraveller July 13, 2018 6:58 PM BST
I am doing psychological study.
Report Charlie July 13, 2018 7:00 PM BST
Hope your exams are on the psychology of how to avoid studying when you should be.
Report Charlie July 13, 2018 7:01 PM BST
Good good good.
Report detraveller July 13, 2018 7:03 PM BST
Should have layed 1.3

I was just afraid of betting on a dead rubber thinking England might not be trying.
Report pixie July 13, 2018 7:03 PM BST
Big wicket dat!
Report Charlie July 13, 2018 7:03 PM BST
Getting a tad greedy and not laying off just yet.
Report Richie_Burnett July 13, 2018 7:04 PM BST
It's not a dead rubber, all games count towards the ODI league that the women play. Pretty triggering that they threw away 20 runs with wides and misfields cos I'm equal red on both now. Interesting now.
Report detraveller July 13, 2018 7:05 PM BST
Hmm ddidn't know that.
Report Charlie July 13, 2018 7:05 PM BST
I'm a big believer in backing the favourite on women's cricket. The difficulty being getting reasonable odds.
Report Richie_Burnett July 13, 2018 7:06 PM BST
Just got to resist the temptation to start button clickingLaugh
Report Charlie July 13, 2018 7:07 PM BST
Odds changing quickly.

Did you also know that Devine and Tahuhu are married?
Report Charlie July 13, 2018 7:08 PM BST
No!
Report Richie_Burnett July 13, 2018 7:08 PM BST
Also Kapp and van Niekerk for SA recently married.

Report Richie_Burnett July 13, 2018 7:10 PM BST
oh yeah my mistake
Report detraveller July 13, 2018 7:10 PM BST
Wtf I just realized Tahuhu is a woman
Report detraveller July 13, 2018 7:11 PM BST
I thought Tahuhu sounded like an All Blacks rugby player
Report Richie_Burnett July 13, 2018 7:11 PM BST
Shame about van Niekerk, she's quite hot, relative to the player pool.
Report Richie_Burnett July 13, 2018 7:11 PM BST
I think Bolton and Villani are together too, both play for WA/Aus/

Inappropriate but made me giggle RB.

Report Richie_Burnett July 13, 2018 7:17 PM BST
When did you back england, Charlie?
Report Charlie July 13, 2018 7:19 PM BST
I didn't. Laid them when they playing Colombia at 5.9. At that stage they had to beat them and then Sweden and then the semifinal qualifier and then the finalists. Was a good bet but got a bit twitchy when the got to semi.
Report Charlie July 13, 2018 7:20 PM BST
RB if you promise not to tell anyone else I was born in Newport.
Report Charlie July 13, 2018 7:22 PM BST
Laid again 1.25.
Report Richie_Burnett July 13, 2018 7:23 PM BST
ahaha, I like it over there. Some friends live there, I paid for us to watch Newport v Barnet in 2016. It got rained off at half time and I was working nights for the midweek replayCry
Report Charlie July 13, 2018 7:25 PM BST
All my dad's side of the family come from there.
Report Richie_Burnett July 13, 2018 7:27 PM BST
Nice cos you can get to Cardiff or Brizzle pretty quickly.
Report Charlie July 13, 2018 7:28 PM BST
I joined the army in Cardiff. I went to live with grandparents for a while. I liked Newport but some parts are dives now.
Report detraveller July 13, 2018 7:29 PM BST
I laid 1.21 but backed again at 1.24
Report Charlie July 13, 2018 7:30 PM BST
Took the Queen's £5 note as it was then - inflation from the shilling.
Report Richie_Burnett July 13, 2018 7:31 PM BST
I think it's very rough but I don't go often enough to notice.
Report Charlie July 13, 2018 7:32 PM BST
Sensible dt. I'm waiting for a wicket or two but have been saying that for a while. I'll take the hit if I have to - not a great deal.
Report detraveller July 13, 2018 7:33 PM BST
Fk me I layed 1.21 again and its 1.1 now
Report detraveller July 13, 2018 7:33 PM BST
I've layed again then
Report Charlie July 13, 2018 7:34 PM BST
Sounds bizarre but I quite like rough places as people are often sound. Not to live though.

The fielding and wides bowled have killed this game. It would be so much closer without 25 runs gifted to NZ.
Report Charlie July 13, 2018 7:35 PM BST
Good one. Nice one dt I followed at 1.11 but didn't think it was taken but was.
Report Charlie July 13, 2018 7:36 PM BST
Still red though!
Report detraveller July 13, 2018 7:36 PM BST
oh my. I was busy at the tennis didnt notice the wicket
Report detraveller July 13, 2018 7:37 PM BST
Ok I win 150 Euros on Eng and nothing on NZ.
Report Richie_Burnett July 13, 2018 7:37 PM BST
wow - maybe need 30+ from Kerr and Bezuidenhout. eng favs if Devine blows up imo
Report Charlie July 13, 2018 7:40 PM BST
That's one of those tricky situations dt. Take your cash or not. I went through that stage about three or four years ago and couldn't resolve it apart from to say it doesn't matter as you don't know what's going to happen.
Report detraveller July 13, 2018 7:40 PM BST
Yeah Charlie I am thinking about my cash out strategies I fk it up more often than not
Report detraveller July 13, 2018 7:42 PM BST
Ive cashed out. Fk it
Report Charlie July 13, 2018 7:43 PM BST
I noticed you'd been talking about it. I could never, and probably still don't, get it right. But it's only with hindsight we know what we should have done. I don't worry about it now.
Report Richie_Burnett July 13, 2018 7:43 PM BST
I'd stick with the eng green, no way are NZ value at 1.26 - seems about right to me. If you need the money then try to even it up of course/
Report detraveller July 13, 2018 7:44 PM BST
So charlie youve been reading the forum all this time but not posting? hmm
Report Charlie July 13, 2018 7:46 PM BST
KOD, I'll have to reread some of the horsey threads now as your name has cropped up a bit lately.
Report Charlie July 13, 2018 7:46 PM BST
dt, I read everything!
Report detraveller July 13, 2018 7:47 PM BST
There are two ways I can decide whether to cash out or not.

1. Is the cashout bet value?
2.
Report detraveller July 13, 2018 7:47 PM BST
I forgot the second point ffs
Report detraveller July 13, 2018 7:47 PM BST
amazing i cant recall it now
Report Charlie July 13, 2018 7:49 PM BST
Nice one. Need another quick one.
Report detraveller July 13, 2018 7:50 PM BST
Another thing I shouldn't do is get involved in the game when i've cashed out becasue I don't intend to bet anymore.

Layed at 1.5 Happy
Report Charlie July 13, 2018 7:52 PM BST
Not betting it but 1.37 seems a good lay.
Report Richie_Burnett July 13, 2018 7:54 PM BST
I think cutting out button clicking is really important, green or red. I just watch it without checking the market at these stages and keep an idea of the prices in mind. Maybe check the odds every 5 overs or so. I can't see any reason to bet now.
Report Charlie July 13, 2018 7:56 PM BST
I did an experiment once where I literally just button clicked at random. I bet quite a lot. Ended up even.
Report detraveller July 13, 2018 7:57 PM BST
button clicking refers to betting just for the sake of it?(like I just did?)

Auto Cash Out takes a price doesn't ask for a price

Report Richie_Burnett July 13, 2018 7:59 PM BST
Yeah, I think being red or green sort of encourages it. Years ago I used to fritter away test green purely out of boredom and when I realised I cut it out.
Report Cardinal Scott July 13, 2018 7:59 PM BST
This has been the best lasses trading game since last summers world cup final.............imo
Report detraveller July 13, 2018 7:59 PM BST
I know CS. By Cash out, I usually mean laying off the back bet(or the other way round)
Report Charlie July 13, 2018 8:02 PM BST
I had a spell, three times I think, not long ago when I wanted to close the Cash Out option when I'd logged in first thing. Brain not working and wanted to close it so clicked top right-hand corner. Of course it just cashed out.
Report Richie_Burnett July 13, 2018 8:02 PM BST
Basically don't be greedy, chase or be results orientatedCrazy
Report Charlie July 13, 2018 8:03 PM BST
Don't know what that means RB.
Report Charlie July 13, 2018 8:04 PM BST
She may be Devine but I'd like her out please.
Report detraveller July 13, 2018 8:05 PM BST

Report Charlie July 13, 2018 8:16 PM BST
Final lay 1.04.
Report Charlie July 13, 2018 8:17 PM BST
Hard to believe I'm losing this with these averages: backed England 1.5 laid 1.3, backed NZ 2.1 laid 1.25.
Report Richie_Burnett July 13, 2018 8:19 PM BST
comms - good ground fielding today from england - are they for real?
Report Cardinal Scott July 13, 2018 8:21 PM BST
Your backs must be much bigger than your lays charlie
Report detraveller July 13, 2018 8:21 PM BST
I also layed 1.04 and have cashed out at 1.09 for a flat position overall.
