Given that its Xmas  and a time for a beer or two here is a team of cricketers who have had booze related incidents in their careers. Jessie Ryder, Colin Milburn, David Boon , Ricky Ponting,Andrew Symons,Freddie Flintoff, Ian Botham,Ben Stokes,Graham Swann, Alan Mullally and Monty Panesar.
A formidable team on and off the pitch but no wicket keeper Any additional names for the squad welcomed.

I'll nominate Charlie for the keeper position.

The copious alcohol consumption won't be an issue.

I'm not sure he had problems exactly but didn't Rod marsh set some sort of record for the number of cans of Fosters drunk on the flight between England and Australia. He was a wicketkeeper for you younger people.
Incidentally Bobby Peel is a shokkin emission.

That was David Boon who set the record.

Michael Beer needs to do something to get in this team Happy

I remember 3 or 4 years ago about a Sri lankan player who when pissed aboard a plane tired to open the doors at 20,000 feet.   He has to be in the team.

Rod Marsh had the record of 51 where he needed to be carried off the plane.  David Boon gently necked 52 to break it and then carried on into the day/night.  Pretty sure Geoff Lawson, a non drinker was the stats keeper, and they may have encouraged a couple of loops of the plane to get across the line.

Shaun and Mitch Marsh, son of Geoff Marsh another famous cricketer, not related to Rod.
