My girlfriend has just come home from work and explained a truly sickening scenario...
One of her colleagues ( female ) came in to work today with a black eye.... couldn't even speak she was in such a state...
Anyway my girlfriend eventually calmed her and the poor girl revealed she's being beaten by her husband. It's been going on for months. She confided in my girlfriend who was sworn to silence.
This pyscopath has a criminal record for assault and tried to speak to my girlfriend as she left work.... she just walked past him and ran home....
She's told the girl that she wont say anything but ffs surely she has to?!
Who is the best person for her to tell? Her manager? The police?
I know chit chat is a comedy haven but please no smart remarks.
Any input much appreciated.

I think your girlfriend should try to convince her colleague to tell the police before she (your gf) tells anyone
anon call to the police explaining her situation, but she may get the backlash from the hubby as the girl is bound to spill the beans

She has to go to the police,then she has to move in with her parents/person she trusts.Hope everything works out well,remind her there is a helpline that do great work for women in her position.
Get your girlfriend to get her mother to talk to the mother of the psychopath to tell her to talk to the brother of the girlfriend of your mother's boyfriend.........no....that's not right....I'll be back later...!
Tell your girlfriend to tell her friend to grind up some rat poison and put it in the coonts dinner
