Think I didn't sign out of my hotmail account in an internet cafe and when I tried to reaccess it next it wouldn't let me saying it was blocked because someone had accessed it and sent out loads of spam, which is a bit naughty. it said it had sent a reaccess code to my previous email (about 4 years old) but it didn't even give me the email address (just the first two letters), I can recall one I had from back then but I can't manage to get back in for some reason which is a pain, and it won't let me give them another new email, obviously as the spam person could just make up a new one too. would be a nuisance if I lost this account as I've had it for 4 years now and loads of info is stored on there. Anyone who's had this problem before or who has any computer hacking skills generally their help would be greatly appreciated.

I think there's a support email address you can email, a similar thing happened to my old man and they managed to reset it even though he didnt have an alternative address.
There's no information left in that account as I deleted it all

Happened to my other half recently...there is a set of steps to go through (including a security question) if you follow their wizard for 'I can't access my account' or something similar. During the process you'll need to furnish them with an email address so they can send you the new password...once you've got that far you're done...then change your pass again once you're in.
...forgot to mention that twomatchpoints forwarded the pic of you with the sheep to me and a few others though 
my hotmail account was hacked on friday - managed to get into a couple of betting related sites and am now down a small fortune

Ok, cheers for all serious advice, when I have more time I will follow advice given. Still struggling with the system though. Nothing from my betfair account mind. Jbha, they didn't manage to access bank accounts and stuff did they? I've cancelled my card already if that is worth anything.
managed to access moneybookers and from there it was sent to other moneybookers accounts and finally to russian banks, hoping that some of it gets stopped - when i discovered what was going on i thought that they had managed to get hold of all passwords so it could have been a lot worse
