I know it's a bad trait to procrastinate ..

But If you have an important decision to make & can't decide .. how do you arrive at your decision ?

Would you just dismiss the idea if you couldn't decide .. basically no decision means no .. would you ever roll a dice like the diceman on an important one ?

You just have to roll your sleeves up and make the decision McM. That's the only advice, I'm afraid. Indecision gets you nowhere.  Go with what your gut tells you and be prepared to face the consequences of that. In your case, it sounds like your gut wants you to buy rather than rent. Time is short though, so you need to go ahead and make that decision. Right now!

One thing you can do is to change your mental perspective slightly. Go for a run, or walk to the top of a hill and sit there and think, or visit an art gallery or something.

Drink/drugs are another way of changing your mental perspective, but somehow I feel that

...in your case this would not help at all so I'd advise strongly against it.

You have no f*cking idea. I'm a slave to randomness. I'm not joking, and it's a hell on earth.

When I was five it was dice. When I was nine it was ten sided dice (they're irregular but if you use two you get a percentile).

That's not an exaggeration by the way, I used to be able to read numbers when I was five. It would have taken me a matter of seconds to tell you what 8 15 12 12 25   8 1 19   7 18 5 1 20   20 9 20 19 meant. As a five/six-year-old.

I was born with the star sign Libra, i have spent my life with indecision.(Balancing)
I do take a lot of time making a decision, but when i have made it, it's normaly the right one.

Cheers ..

I've been going for a lot of walks lately Patra .. and apart from chatting to a few interesting people , i find just sitting in a nice peaceful spot in silence for an hour helps me think more clearly & think ahead a bit more seriously .. one step at a time ..

and then  it comes down to ..

You are spot on Cooee .. Cheers !
I just have to pull the trigger fast & live with the consequences , good or bad ..

I guess it's not the end , more a stepping stone for me , and i could always sell or rent the place in a few years if i wanted to

I've just always struggled with serious decisions , and i play poker for a living , lol

I just have to stay positive whatever i do Happy
