Pharmacy award today goes to the Henry Dwyer stable--2 from 2 --in circumstances where lactic acid in  muscle build up had no effect on performances especially the last race winner

Trainer: Henry Dwyer
Georgina Cartwright

Very tough run ---inplay last price matched 10.00--yet still won in circumstances that would have done Winx proud----

No way-- not natural !

Looking at graph (printed off)---At point where should tire-- because outside leader etc etc---hits 7.00 in play---when it appears to do the impossible-- goes down to its lowest inplay at 3.00 then when what should be the inevitable ---spikes out to 10.00 as last inplay ---and yet gets up ---on legs that are somehow resisting the effects of lactic acid----

Not like there's not the odd bottle here and there.

The Stewards issued a charge against Mr Henry Dwyer under AR177A, the particulars of the charge being:

Mr Dwyer is, and was at all relevant times, a trainer licensed by Racing Victoria.
Mr Dwyer was, at all relevant times, the trainer of Heir To The Throne.
On 22 June 2017, Heir To The Throne  was brought to the Burrumbeet racecourse to engage in a jump-out for the purpose of obtaining a permit to start in a race in accordance with LR50(1).
A prohibited substance, being Phenylbutazone and Oxyphenbutazone (a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory), was detected in a blood sample taken from Heir To The Throne prior to its engagement in a jump-out.
Following the laying of the charge, Mr Dwyer indicated in writing that he would plead guilty before the RAD Board to the charge under AR 177A.  In those circumstances, pursuant to the provisions of LR 6C(2A), the Stewards held a penalty hearing today.
